A Survivor Who Turned Pain into Paper

From Broken Boy to Healing Author

Gerald Baca did not become a writer because life was easy. He became a writer because life nearly destroyed him. Raised by a loving Catholic mother and a father shattered by Vietnam, Gerald learned fear before he learned faith.

Panic attacks followed him through military service, odd jobs, and failed relationships. He tried therapy. He tried acting. He tried running away. Nothing stuck until he found two things: a spiritual home that welcomed Jesus and Sai Baba as one, and a practical tool called Dianetics to clear old trauma.

Guru God is that story. Raw. Unfiltered. Not written for a publisher. Written for his own survival. The Magic Tree came later, as a gift to his sons and to any child who needs to hear that transformation is real. Gerald lives today in quiet devotion. He still struggles. He still prays. He still writes. Not because he has arrived. Because he is still walking.
